The team of the TANKER Awareness and Prevention Program (TAPP) of TANKER Foundation conducted a screening camp at Nellikuppam in Chengalpattu district Wednesday, April 23, 2025, which saw the participation of 77 people.

Remarks: A total of 77 community members participated in the screening camp.

During the screening, 36 individuals were found to have high random blood sugar levels and 17 individuals were newly-identified as diabetic.

Additionally, nine new cases of hypertension were detected.

In total, 20 high-risk individuals were identified and referred to nearby primary health centres and private hospitals for further management and care.

Dr. Prasanna Kumar provided dietary advice to the participants.
