Flyjac Logistics Pvt Ltd has generously supported the Thiruverkadu TANKER Dialysis Unit by donating two new dialysis machines, as part of their CSR initiative.

The two new dialysis machines were inaugurated by Mr. J. Shyam Sundar, Managing Director, Flyjac Logistics Pvt. Ltd., Monday, May 26, 2025.

The event took place in the presence of Mr. R. Kumaran, Deputy Managing Director, Mr. Shuji Ueno, Director & VP – Accounting and Finance, and Mr. C.J. Narasimhan, AVP – Finance & Procurement, at the Thiruverkadu TANKER Dialysis Unit located on 1st Sannadhi Street, Koladi Road, Thiruverkadu, Chennai.

Mr. Shyam Sundar expressed his deep appreciation for the invaluable work carried out by TANKER Foundation in supporting individuals suffering from kidney failure. He also affirmed his commitment to supporting the foundation’s efforts in the future.

The Thiruverkadu dialysis unit is supported by Rotary Club of Madras West (RCMW), the Chief Minister’s Comprehensive Health Insurance Scheme (CMCHIS) and many other valuable donors.

Mrs. Latha A. Kumaraswami, Co-Founder and Managing Trustee of TANKER Foundation, conveyed TANKER’s heartfelt gratitude to Flyjac Logistics Pvt Ltd, CMCHIS, Greater Chennai Corporation, Rotary Clubs, RCMW and other valuable donors for their consistent and generous support.

She said the lifespan of a haemodialysis machine is typically seven years, after which the machine must be replaced depending on utilisation and operating hours. She highlighted the importance of timely replacement to ensure the continued delivery of quality care to patients.

Mrs. Latha Kumaraswami said kidney failure was on the increase and it was of utmost importance to create awareness and detect early. She said World Kidney Day, observed on March 13, emphasised the need to detect early and protect kidney health. It was important to have regular blood tests and follow all the eight golden rules for kidney care which included a healthy diet, regular exercise, managing blood sugar and BP, proper fluid intake and avoiding self-medication.
