Considering it an ideal time for intervention, the TANKER Awareness and Prevention Program (TAPP) team from the Madurai TANKER Foundation, led by Mr. Venkatesan, created awareness during the Chithirai Thiruvizha in Madurai Sunday, May 11, 2025.

They distributed pamphlets to educate the general public on kidney health and measures to be taken to prevent kidney disease.

They were able to reach out to around 2,000 people during the festival.
