A screening camp was conducted at Thammanur village in Kanchipuram district of Tamil Nadu by the TANKER Awareness and Prevention Program (TAPP) team of TANKER Foundation Thursday, April 24, 2025. In all 73 members of the community benefited from the camp.

Remarks: A total of 73 community members participated in the screening camp.
During the screening, 26 individuals were found to have high random blood sugar levels, and 24 individuals were newly-identified as diabetic.
Furthermore, 11 new cases of hypertension were detected.
In total, 14 high-risk individuals were identified and referred to the nearby primary health centres and private hospitals for further evaluation and treatment.
Dr. Aravindhan provided dietary advice to the general public to promote healthier lifestyles.
